Dr. Chris is a Chesterton native. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wabash College and then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for his Doctor of Dental Medicine. While at dental school, Dr. Chris was awarded a Health Professions Scholarship with the United States Air Force. After graduating from dental school, he went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at Eglin AFB. Dr. Chris was then stationed at Laughlin AFB as a general dentist to complete his service commitment. While at Laughlin, he earned the Air and Space Commendation Medal as a result of his success in treating the airmen and modernizing dental practices at the base. Dr. Chris values lifelong learning and as a result has completed over 300 hours in continuing education since graduating dental school on a wide variety of topics including IV and oral sedation, laser usage in dentistry, and dental trauma to name just a few. Dr. Chris and his wife Shannon are happy to be back in the Duneland area with their two young sons. In his free time Dr. Chris enjoys swimming, hiking in the dunes, and fishing.
