Dr Joseph Majka

Dr. Joseph Majka completed his dental education in 1993 at Indiana University School of Dentistry. During the summer of 1993, Dr. Majka worked for the Indiana State Department of Health, predominantly caring for the dental needs of migrant farm workers’ children. In September of 1993, he moved back to Valparaiso and started practicing family and cosmetic dentistry that October. Dr. Majka has always had a heart for the underprivileged in the community, and has given back in so many ways. From 1999 to 2001, he was a volunteer dentist for Hilltop House. From 2001 to 2002, he served on the board of directors for Hilltop Community Health Center. Dr. Majka has been involved with Donated Dental Services of Indiana since 2001. Every year, Dr. Majka and his team provide free dental care for a number of patients. As a patient of Dr. Majka, you will experience a calming atmosphere, an outstanding level of quality service and an overall laid-back demeanor. But don’t let Dr. Majka’s relaxed personality fool you; his qualifications are diverse and his achievements lengthy! Professional affiliations that Dr. Majka belongs to include the following: American Dental Association (since 1993), Indiana Dental Association (since 1993), Northwest Indiana Dental Society (since 1993), Chicago Dental Society (since 1998), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (since 2002), Academy of General Dentistry (since 2005), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (since 2007), International Congress of Oral Implantologists (since 2007). Dr. Majka has enjoyed numerous continuing education courses over the years covering all aspects of dental care. He has attended the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for training in cosmetic dentistry and has three hundred hours of training from New York University in implant dentistry. Dr. Majka earned a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in 2007 and his Mastership in 2013. Dr. Majka can provide treatment for the most basic dental care to the most complex.
