Dr Heather Hruskocy

A Lake Forest native, Dr. Heather Hruskocy is thrilled to be owning, operating and practicing at The Smile Loft in her hometown. The Smile Loft is a state-of-the-art, private dental practice serving patients on Chicago's NorthShore of all ages conveniently located on the west side of Lake Forest. Dr. Hruskocy is devoted to educating her patients and tailoring their treatment to best fit each patient's unique needs. She is committed to providing her patients with an honest, friendly, and gentle dental experience. After graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, she practiced as a general dentist for a decade in the Chicago neighborhoods of Lincoln Park, Wicker Park, and North Center before opening the Smile Loft in 2022. Growing up in Lake Forest, Dr. Hruskocy attended the School of St. Mary and graduated from Lake Forest High School. While at LFHS, she excelled in and out of the classroom. She was an honor roll student who also captained the nationally ranked varsity dance team. Dr. Hruskocy then attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison (Go Badgers!) where she received her bachelor of science degree in Biology.
