Dr Josh Heimerdinger

Dr. Josh Heimerdinger is a valued member of the team at Ocean Oaks Dental Group of Vero Beach and brings extensive experience in implant dentistry. His expertise includes tooth removal and replacement with dental implants, bone grafting, full-arch restorations, and resolving implant-related complications. With a primary focus on implant care, Dr. Heimerdinger is able to build strong, lasting relationships with his patients while guiding them through each step of treatment. He is passionate about dental implants and takes the time to answer questions and educate patients on their options so they can feel confident in their care. Dr. Heimerdinger received his bachelor’s in science from the University of Missouri, and his dental degree from Southern Illinois School of Dental Medicine in 2015. He furthered his education after dental school by completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. He then practiced general dentistry in Missouri and Colorado, where he discovered his passion for implant dentistry. Deciding to devote his career to implantology, he went back to school and accepted a position as a full-time implant fellow at his alma mater SIU. There he worked with specialists to treat complex cases and honed his surgical and prosthetic skills to maximize treatment outcomes.
