Dr Hanh Catanzano

Dr. Hanh Catanzano was raised in Rockville, MD. After graduating from high school, Dr. Catanzano attended University of Maryland, obtained both her BS and MS in biology. She then attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery to pursue a career in dentistry because it provides her with not only a scientific focus, but an artistic outlet as well. With this career she is able to utilize her people skills with a more instantaneous gratification of helping others and build a lasting relationship with her patients. After graduating, Dr. Catanzano went into private practice in Virginia, and now adopted Vienna community as her new dental home. Dr. Hanh Catanzano believed education is the most vital part to achieve excellence, providing general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry treatment at the highest. Her patients are especially drawn to her gentle, friendly manner, as well as her down-to-earth approach. They feel an instant connection because she turns technical dental concepts into everyday language to create an easy, relaxing rapport. According to Dr. Catanzano, “My patients are so much more than a set of teeth, keeping them healthy-means knowing them well.” Dr. Hanh Catanzano is no stranger to giving back to her community. She has volunteered at the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic in addition other clinics for patients with special needs and Give Kids a Smile Day. She has traveled abroad to volunteer her services in Vietnam, through Operation Smile. She is the twice recipient of Ellen S. Flanagan Volunteer Service awards, for over 200 hours of volunteering in dentistry. Dr. Catanzano currently resides in Arlington, VA, with her husband, and her two sons. If she is not serving your dental needs, or spending time with family, she can be found at the gym. As a yoga enthusiast, she spends her time doing yoga as she believes that calmness starts from within.
