Dr John Kent,

Dr. John Kent is a Virginia native from a military family and has resided in Northern Virginia, Richmond and the Hampton Roads area. Growing up, Dr. Kent focused heavily on art and graphic design, constantly working with his hands with the goal of making this his lifelong career. However, his love of science and desire to help people eventually led him to the medical professions. Through a mentor, he discovered he was able to combine all of his passions through Dentistry. He was accepted into the guaranteed admission program to the Dental School at Virginia Commonwealth University right out of high school and spent the next decade of his life living in Richmond. VCU was the perfect fit for Dr. Kent, as it was also a top Art and Design school in the country. Dr. Kent has spent the last decade in Hampton Roads improving the lives of his patients by providing compassionate and painless dentistry. He has developed a reputation in the area for helping those with high dental anxiety and has helped many without having to use potentially risky sedation techniques. Dr. Kent believes that true quality dentistry must bridge the gap between technical and artistic skill.
