Dana W. Chudej (pronounced coo-jay) was born in Victoria, Texas and raised in Houston. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University, now known as Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Before entering University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, he worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the radiology department. He graduated from UTDB Houston in May 1985. Dr. Chudej was in private practice in Pasadena, Texas until 2007. He then began working for a national dental corporation, primarily focusing on cost-effective surgery and denture care for adult patients. Dr. Chudej and his wife of thirty-two years have three adult daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching college and professional football.
