Dr. Holt grew up in Kingsport, TN with his twin brother and two younger siblings. As the son of a general surgeon and grandson of an oral surgeon, he knew he wanted to be a doctor at an early age. In 2015, he began his freshman year at the University of South Carolina and decided his junior year that he wanted to be a dentist. After graduating with a B.S. in Biology in May of 2019, he started dental school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, graduating in 2023 top of his class with first honors and was also recognized for excellence in endodontics. Wanting more training, he completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at East Carolina University in June of 2024. He met his soon-to-be wife, McKenna, his junior year of college. In his spare time, he loves playing golf, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends!
