Dr. John Seisman grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and earned his DDS from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He is passionate about dentistry because it uniquely blends art and science with the opportunity to work hands-on. Patients consistently value Dr. Seisman’s warm, patient-centered approach. He takes the time to understand each individual’s needs and concerns, including fear, finances, and timing, to ensure comfort and confidence in their care. Dr. Seisman was the sole member of his graduating class selected for a clerkship in Advanced Fixed Prosthodontics. His commitment to clinical excellence has earned him several distinctions, including the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Award for Excellence in Prosthodontics, the Harry B. Schwartz Memorial Award for Excellence in Fixed Prosthodontics, and selection to the American Prosthodontic Foundation Scholars Program. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Virginia Commonwealth University, with advanced training in comprehensive care, including dental implants, complete dentures, and immediate prosthetic rehabilitation. Dr. Seisman is proud to have earned the Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction achieved by only about 6% of general dentists in the United States. This honor requires more than 500 hours of approved continuing education and successful completion of a rigorous national examination. He is currently pursuing the Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Dr. Seisman remains dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care through advanced training and a lifelong commitment to learning.
