Dr. Journett is a first generation dentist who is originally from Hoboken, NJ. He received his B.A in Biology from Kean University in Union, NJ. Dr. Journett then went on to pursue his dental degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry. He completed a one year AEGD residency in Richmond, VA at Virginia Commonwealth University where he learned advanced/complex prosthetic, endodontic, and surgical procedures. When Dr. Journett is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, returning to NJ for their bagel, Italian food, and coffee cake from B&W Bakery in Hackensack. He particularly enjoys visiting NYC around Christmas time. Dr Journett enjoys cooking new dishes with his fiance, Alauna, hiking, camping, and traveling. He is passionate about baseball and a huge Yankee fan. Dr Journett is highly disappointed by the 2024 World Series and the loss of Juan Soto to the cross town rivals the Mets. Dr. Journett hopes to obtain his Private Pilot License and PADI scuba certification in the near future.
