Dr Darvishzadeh,

After spending part of his high school years in Michigan he completed his simultaneous degrees in Biochemistry and Genetics, at the University of California Berkeley, he continued his graduate work in Molecular Cell Biology. However, before the completion of his graduate work he was accepted into the Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Dr. Darvishzadeh is a long-term (17 years) member of the Contra Costa Dental Society and served in different capacities on the executive board as well as the Continuing Education Committee. He is a member of several study groups, as well as, actively participating as a volunteer in community based non-profit organizations. He has a non-profit oral health organization for children addressing the needs of children in the underserved area of the world outside of the U.S. Dr. Darvishzadeh believes in the patient centered care, in which the primary goal is to educate the patient and treat the patient the way they would want and choose to be treated. That is why he treats each patient with the courtesy and respect that they deserve. His exceptional communication skills and chairside demeanor help him treat and care for even the most hesitant patients. In his free time Dr. Darvishzadeh enjoys biking, skiing, creating architectural gardens, cooking and spending quality time with his two children, wife and mother.
