Dr. James P. Underhill (JP) earned his D.M.D. in 2020 from the University of New England College of Dental Medicine in Portland, ME. Dr. Underhill is thrilled to be back home in the Ocean State with his family and friends. He grew up in South Kingstown, RI, graduated high school from The Prout School in 2012 and graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2016 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business. JP has a strong passion practicing General Dentistry and joins the dental community in RI as a third-generation dentist in his family, with his father Dr. John M. Underhill D.D.S., who specializes in Orthodontics, and his grandfather Dr. Hebert J. Underhill D.D.S who practiced General Dentistry in East Greenwich, RI. JP loves spending time outdoors with his friends and family at the beach, hiking in the mountains, on the golf course, and playing ice hockey.
