Dr. Robinson attended the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine where she received her D.M.D. degree in 2006. Following graduation, Dr. Robinson practiced General Dentistry as an associate at a private office in Bristol, CT for two years. She relocated to the Washington, D.C. area in 2008 and began practicing in the Watergate, where she became a partner in 2009. Dr. Robinson has been nominated as a Washingtonian Top Doctor by her peers since 2021. Dr. Robinson is a member of the American Dental Association, the DC Dental Society, the American Academy of Clear Aligners, the Renaissance Study Group, the Spear study club, ASAP Pathway, and she is also an Invisalign© Platinum provider. Dr. Robinson is a graduate of the Tufts Pediatric mini sleep residency, is an AHS (Airway Health Solutions) graduate, and also an ambassador for The Breathe Institute after completing the training. Dr. Robinson has trained under the forefront leaders in dental sleep researchers and providers in the country, and focuses on bringing this same level of care to the DC area using an interdisciplanary approach across many specialties. Dr. Robinson is a general dentist with a passion for evaluating patient’s jaws and teeth and assessing their overall craniofacial health. She specializes in airway evaluation and craniofacial growth and modification with a focus on childhood interceptive orthodontics, as well as adult airway evaluation and treatment to help with sleep disordered breathing and sleep apnea. She is a member of Sleep Group Solutions, which uses cutting edge technology to determine the ideal jaw positioning for dental sleep apnea devices to decrease respiratory disturbances while sleeping. She is a Healthy Start and Myobrace provider, places expanders in adults and children, and uses clear aligner therapy to guide growth and development in children. She was also trained by leading specialists in the country to perform maxillary skeletal expansion in teenagers and adults using MSE appliances and custom MARPE appliances. Dr. Robinson also has a trained myofunctional therapist on her staff that helps to improve patient’s overall airway health during, before or after airway procedures. She also regularly performs general dental procedures including crown and bridge work, fillings, implant restorations, clear aligner therapy, laser dentistry, and many other common and necessary dental procedures. Dr. Robinson routinely keeps on the cutting edge of new technologies in dentistry by using 2D and 3D digital x-rays, digital intraoral imaging, iTero 3D digital scanning, and laser dentistry to improve the level of patient care. She focuses on prevention of oral disease, patient education, and identification of unidentified craniofacial and airway growth problems. She is continuously looking to learn and improve her skills by reading and taking continuing education courses throughout the year. She is passionate about providing the best possible dental experience for patients, and strives to always learn new techniques to improve patient care.
