My name is Derick Sovereign and I look forward to meeting you! I was raised in Gilbert, AZ. After graduating high school I lived in Moscow, Russia and surrounding areas for two years on church service. When I returned, I attended undergraduate school in Utah where I met my wife, Sydney. After graduating, we moved back to Arizona where I attended dental school. My wife’s family is in the fishing and hospitality industry in Southeast Alaska so she has spent her summers since she was in high school in Alaska. When she introduced me to it, I knew that we’d love living here. We are very excited to call the Mat-Su Valley home for our family! When I’m not seeing patients, I love to spend time with my wife and 3 kids. We enjoy getting outside as much as possible and are so excited for all that Alaska has to offer. We also love traveling and experiencing new destinations together. I strive to make patient comfort my number one priority and I look forward to delivering the very best treatment possible for all of my patients. I look forward to serving you!
