Dr Matthew Sandberg

Dr. Matthew Sandberg earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University in 2010. Following graduation, he relocated from Portland, Oregon, to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where he completed a rigorous one-year internship with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin. His training also included specialized rotations at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the Zablocki VA Medical Center. After his internship, Dr. Sandberg dedicated three years to providing dental and surgical care for underserved communities in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He also continued to support veterans by performing surgical procedures at the Zablocki VA Medical Center. In 2015, Dr. Sandberg acquired Firefly Family Dentistry, fulfilling his vision of creating a welcoming, patient-first dental practice. He remains committed to giving back to the community by mentoring residents in oral surgery and CAD/CAM dentistry at the Zablocki VA Medical Center. Outside of the office, Dr. Sandberg lives in Wauwatosa with his wife, Megan, and their dog, Porter. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, hiking, traveling, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and spending time with family and friends.
