Dr Mona Sawwan

Dr. Mona Sawwan strives to help everyone achieve a healthy and beautiful smile. The best aspect of her job is to provide dentistry that exceeds a patient's expectations. She believes gift of being a dentist has enriched her life in many ways. In particular, how to understand others. She appreciates each of her patients for who they are and respects their opinions and ideas. Open communication is key to Dr Mona and she always takes the time to carefully listen to each of her patients concerns and answer any questions so that they fully understand their best options. Dr. Mona was born and raised in Amman, Jordan. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from University of Jordan. Since graduation, she has been involved in extensive continuing education in Periodontology, Oral Surgery, Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry. She is actively involved in clinical research in Jordan and in the United States. Dr. Mona later received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. She enjoys learning new things and constantly bettering the depth and breadth of her skills. It is important to Dr. Mona to keep current with evolving techniques and material to provide state-of-the-art treatment options for her patients. Currently, she is a member of various organizations such as American Dental Associations, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and Chicago Dental Society. Outside of work, Dr. Mona likes to cook and spend time with family.
