For more than four decades, Dr. Gary Edeer has delivered leading-edge dental care to his patients in the Wayne area. His approach to dentistry blends artistry with engineering, combining creativity and science to produce outstanding outcomes. Originally from Turkey, Dr. Edeer holds dual dental degrees: one from the Aegean University School of Dental Medicine and another from the University of Pennsylvania, where he later taught. During dental school, he also worked as a lab technician. This gives him the capability to handle much of his lab casework in-house to meet his exacting standards. Keeping abreast of the latest dental advancements is a top priority for Dr. Edeer. He consistently seeks out superior techniques, materials, and dental laboratories to offer his patients top-notch dentistry. In 2010, Dr. Edeer achieved the esteemed title of Master of the American Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Only about 4 percent of North American dentists have earned this distinction, which requires completing at least 1,000 hours of advanced training. He is dedicated to lifelong learning, continuously updating his knowledge with new technologies and techniques to deliver better results for his patients. Some of the continuing education courses Dr. Edeer has completed include Nash Dental Learning’s cosmetic dentistry course and New York University Brookdale Hospital’s implant maxi course. Dr. Edeer also finished a two-year progressive orthodontics course because he strongly advocates for orthodontic correction to improve and restore a patient’s bite to optimal function. Dr. Edeer maintains active membership in many professional organizations, including: American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, American Academy of Laser Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Association for Orthodontics, American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, World Academy of Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Bone Surgery.
