Dr. Peter M. Perera was raised in Clifton, New Jersey. He went to the University of Massachusetts in Amherst graduating in 1988. Dr. Perera was accepted to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and graduated in 1992. While at Tufts Dental, Dr. Perera was elected by his peers Class Vice President for four years, he achieved Honors in Restorative Dentistry; Endodontics including winning the Endodontic Award in 1992; while on an Externship with the U.S. Coast Guard in Alameda, CA; and was selected as Student Marshall for graduation. Dr. Perera performs most aspects of dentistry with emphasis on restorative dentistry, including crowns, bridgework, implants; root canals and extractions within his scope of expertise. Dr. Perera has extensive experience with comprehensive cosmetic cases with over 6,000 crown units to his credit. Dr. Perera has been recognized as one of America’s Top Dentists multiple years.
