Dr Karl S. Klinar,

Dr. Steve Klinar has been practicing dentistry since 1987. As a graduate of Irmo High School (1976) and the Virginia Military Institute (1980), he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. He completed his education at the Medical University of South Carolina (1987), graduating with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine. With nearly 40 years of practice, Dr Klinar is an expert in all kinds of oral care, especially prevention practices, tooth repair and restoration. He began his career in Aiken, SC at Aiken Family Dentistry until he joined the dental practice of George H. Widner, DDS in 1993. In 2005, a new partnership was created by Dr. Steve Klinar and Dr. Gretchen Widner. As sole owner in 2015, Dr. Klinar continues the legacy of great patient care and relationships that were started over fifty-five years ago. Dr. Klinar volunteers at the Lexington County Children’s Dental Clinic, and is an active board member of the Seven Oaks Lions Club. He is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association and the Greater Columbia Dental Association, where he attends monthly, quarterly, and annual meetings to stay abreast of current dental health practices.
