Dr Connor Elmitt

Dr. Connor Elmitt first moved to Johnston in 1993. After graduating from Johnston High School in 2007, he attended the University of Iowa. While pursuing his degree, Dr. Elmitt lettered in track and field and was recognized as an All-Academic performer. He received early admittance into the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and graduated in 2014. During his time in dental school, he was awarded the American Academy of Oral Medicine Award, given to the senior student showing the most promise in Oral Medicine. He also earned the Delta Dental Foundation Award for Excellence in Geriatric and Special Needs Dentistry for demonstrating exceptional clinical proficiency and understanding of the complex oral health needs of the elderly and medically compromised patient. Following graduation, Dr. Elmitt returned home to Johnston to practice dentistry. After four years working as an associate, he teamed up with his classmate and friend, Dr. Jonathan Karch, to start the Dental Studio of Iowa. He has seen Johnston grow over the past 25 years and is excited to be able to give back to the community that helped to raise him by offering comprehensive care in an advanced, yet comfortable way. Dr. Elmitt enjoys the clinical aspects of dentistry, but the most rewarding part of his profession has always been the relationships with the people he is privileged to serve.
