Dr. Michael Davidson received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa. Dr. Davidson was a previous member of the Iowa Dental Board. He took additional training in sedation dentistry from Oregon State University. Implant dentistry has been a focus for Dr. Davidson. He has taken a number of continuing education classes as well as the longest continuing education class offered in implant dentistry. Dr. Davidson has also expanded his training to include sleep apnea. Memberships include the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Dental Association of Anesthesiology, American Dental Association, and the Des Moines District Dental Society (past president).
