Dr. Behrens is an Iowa native, earning her Bachelor of Science at Loras College in Dubuque and her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Iowa. Her interest is in biologic dentistry, and helping her patients achieve their goals of better health through a holistic focus. Through continuing education she is able to give her patients improved dental outcomes in a minimally invasive approach. Dr. Behrens is a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT), American Breathing and Sleep Academy, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, American Orthodontic Society, and the Iowa Dental Association. She has also obtained a mastership of biomimetic restorative dentistry, and practices safe amalgam removal and ozone therapy for her patients.
