Dr Orhan Suljic

Dr. Orhan Suljic grew up in Des Moines and graduated from Urbandale High School. He participated in multiple school activities such as football, basketball and track and field while always maintaining a high standard in academics. After graduating high school with a 4.0 GPA, Dr. Suljic attended Drake University where he majored in Biology. At Drake University, he began shadowing a dentist in the Des Moines area. He fell in the love with the profession and knew he wanted to be a dentist. Dr. Suljic graduated Summa Cum Laude from Drake University and immediately began dental school at the University of Iowa. At the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Dr. Suljic developed his skills and won several clinical excellence awards in the process. During his junior and senior year, he won the American Association of Endodontics Student Achievement Award, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Student Achievement Award, the Keith E. Thayer Fixed Prosthodontics Award, the Academy of Operative Dentistry Outstanding Achievement Award and the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student of the Year award. After graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, Dr. Suljic decided to return back home and practice in the Des Moines area. Dr. Suljic enjoys spending time with his wife, Kylie, and their daughters, Eleanor and Zoey. His hobbies include traveling, playing basketball, bike riding, supporting the Hawkeyes and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Suljic is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also a member of the Iowa District Dental Society and the Des Moines District Dental Society.
