Dr Stephanie Turner

Dr. Turner grew up in Urbandale and graduated from Urbandale High School in 2004. She was a National Alumni Scholar and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Drake University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology. Dr. Turner then went on to the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012. While in dental school, Dr. Turner was involved with the American Association for Dental Research and the Student Research Group. She presented her work evaluating the ICDAS classification system at two national meetings. In the ten years since graduating from dental school, Dr. Turner has practiced in many different settings throughout the United States, including private practice, public health, and pediatric dental clinics. In 2018, Dr. Turner and her family returned home to Urbandale to be close to extended family and friends. Dr. Turner serves as the current President of the Des Moines District Dental Society.
