Dr. Chad Curtis was raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and received his B.S. degree in biological sciences from the University of South Carolina. He spent 3 months in San Ramón, Costa Rica, to learn Spanish before attending dental school at Columbia University. At Columbia, Dr. Curtis was heavily involved in bone grafting research, developing a passion for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and bone augmentation using growth factors and stem cells to rebuild the jaw bone for dental implants. He graduated from Columbia University with his D.D.S degree and completed his Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Cincinnati. After working in a large oral surgery group in Cincinnati, Dr. Curtis moved to West Palm Beach, Florida, where he met his mentor, Dr. Andrew Slavin. He is board certified and a diplomat and fellow of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Curtis is deeply committed to ongoing education and staying at the forefront of advancements in oral surgery, utilizing cutting-edge techniques including growth factors and stem cell therapy.
