Jayshree Sawhney, DDS, is an experienced dentist and the owner of Cranford Dental Arts in Cranford, New Jersey. In 2001, Dr. Sawhney graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. After graduating from dental school, she opened a private practice in nearby Maryland, where she worked for nine years. Dr. Sawhney sold her Maryland practice in 2010 and moved to Switzerland. While in Switzerland, she continued her dental education and familiarized herself with cutting-edge European technologies. In 2012, Dr. Sawhney returned to the United States and joined the staff of leading practice in Northern New Jersey. In 2019, she decided to open Cranford Dental Arts, providing patients with a comfortable and safe environment for dental care. Dr. Sawhney is one of the first few dentists to own and use Cerec and has been certified as an Invisalign® provider for 20+ years. At Cranford, West Caldwell, and Westfield Dental Arts, Dr. Sawhney listens to each patient and provides comprehensive care that focuses on not only oral health, but overall quality of life. As a mother of three daughters, she enjoys teaching children the importance of taking care of their teeth. It’s her goal for patients of all ages to enjoy going to the dentist. Being a mother of three girls, Dr. Sawhney's friendly and warm personality helps patients feel relaxed throughout their visits. She values building lifelong relationships with each and every patient, tailoring care towards their individual needs. Her focus as a dentist is to listen and understand her patients’ concerns to be able to provide the highest quality of comprehensive care that satisfied their treatment goals. She aims to instill the importance of oral and systemic health and preventative care into each person she treats so that they may smile confidently for their lifetime.
