Dr. Allyson McClendon is a native Clevelander and grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio. Dr. McClendon completed her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and a minor in Spanish. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. McClendon investigated cardiac morphogenesis and liver regeneration as a research technician at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute. Dr. McClendon attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine where she graduated at the top of her dental school class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and received the William S. Kramer Award of Excellence. She went on to complete the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Case School of Dental Medicine partnered with University Hospitals.
