Dr. Kathryn Kennedy received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Loyola University, Chicago, in 1991 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Prior to dental school, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah in Chemistry. Currently, she takes continuing education courses so that she can better serve you, including courses in orthodontics and implant surgery. She has learned how to do FastBraces® directly from the inventor, Dr Anthony Viazis and recently, she took a trip to Santos, Brazil where she placed implants for the local people. Becoming a dentist was a natural extension of Dr. Kennedy’s ability to work with her hands. She enjoys arts and crafts, sewing, cooking, and playing with her dogs. She is married to her husband Dick Dublinski and has three grown children, Peter, Liane, and Hannah. They reside in Naperville, a suburb of Chicago. The office is located in Westmont, close to the patients she has served for over 25 years and close to her home. It is a family practice that sees all ages where she does comprehensive dentistry including white fillings, crowns, bridges, oral surgery, dentures, implants, FastBraces®, and emergencies. She keeps up with technology by utilizing digital x-rays, intra-oral scanning, and a cone beam x-ray machine. Her goal is to educate patients so they can make informed decisions about their treatment. She believes giving them good, better, or best options enables patients to be happy and confident in their treatment.
