Dr. Christa Colaizzi is a native of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Dr. Colaizzi attended the University of Scranton where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Cell, and Molecular Biology. She also obtained an Ancient Greek Language minor. After completing her college career in 2016, Dr. Colaizzi transplanted to the Steel City, attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Dr. Christa Colaizzi lives each workday trying to embody the saying, “treat each patient the way you’d treat your mother”. Her goal is to provide empathetic, welcoming dental care with a special attention to detail. Dr. Colaizzi resides in Wexford with her husband Sam, two aptly named cats (Tofflemire and Carabelli), and Chocolate lab, Zoey. When not seeing patients, Dr. Colaizzi will likely be found snuggling her newborn, engrossed in her kindle reading one of many novels from her (multiple) book clubs, amusing her cats, or finishing an absurdly large jigsaw puzzle.
