Dr. Matthew B. May, DDS received his BS in Neuroscience in 2011 from Muhlenberg College and his DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2015. Dr. May is our team’s Invisalign expert and has a keen focus on cosmetic dentistry. Dr. May received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Neuroscience from Muhlenberg College in 2011 and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2015. After graduation, Dr. May continued his education through a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Campus in Providence, Rhode Island. Although Dr. May is originally from Central New York, he decided to move to Boston after completing his residency and joined our team in 2016. It is evident that Dr. May follows in the tradition of dental excellence that this practice is known for, building on the legacies of not only Dr. Leland (and previously Dr. Brodil), but also that of Dr. May’s father, who is a dentist in New York State. Dr. May is our team’s Invisalign® expert and has an eye for Cosmetic Dentistry. He continues to learn and provide his patients the latest technology and highest quality care through many continued education courses. Dr. May is currently a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), South Shore District Dental Society, and Boston District Dental Society. In addition, Dr. May actively participates in his local Seattle Study Club and Yankee Study Club. Dr. May currently lives in Charlestown with his wife, Janelle. Outside of the office, Matt enjoys staying active, spending time in the kitchen cooking, baking, or crafting a cocktail, and seeing friends and family. If he isn’t in Boston, you’ll likely find him and his wife relaxing on a beach with a book and a cold drink.
