Dr Robert Geary

Dr. Robert Geary comes from the New England beach town of Hull, Massachusetts. During his undergraduate coursework, he participated in and continues to be involved with volunteer and outreach activities through the St. Rock Haiti Foundation. His undergraduate education was complemented with research related to the ethics of genetic technologies as well as research in instrumental analysis as it pertains to the detection of environmental toxins. Through his combined love of science, working with his hands on the weekends with his father, and making connections with people, the choice to pursue a career in dentistry was an easy one. After graduating Summa Cum Laude from Bridgewater State University with a BS in Chemistry and Minor in Philosophy, he went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. During his time at Tufts Dr. Geary spent a considerable amount of time focused on public health initiatives and helping his peers through tutoring. He graduated Honus Civicus and also received the Presidential Award for Civic Life. Dr. Geary went on to complete a General Practice Residency at The University of Vermont Medical Center. His experience in the residency provided him with exposure and advanced education in complex restorative dentistry, extractions, root canals, radiation therapy management, full mouth rehabilitation treatment and planning, implant treatment planning, emergency dental and alveolar trauma management, and exposure to special needs patients and operating room procedures/dentistry. Dr. Geary is passionate about all aspects of dentistry, but particularly loves working with the special needs community. After completion of his program, Dr. Geary was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve as a Dental Officer. During his off time, Dr. Geary enjoys playing and performing music, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. Born and raised in New England, Dr. Geary is excited to be back on the south shore, which has always been his dream, and looks forward to living out his passion of helping others through his acquired knowledge.
