Dr. James P. Gertken, a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Dentistry in Kansas City received a Doctor of Dental Science in 1975. He then established The Dental Care Family in Hutchinson, Ks, and has received three fellowships for his continuing education in the Art and Science of Dentistry. 1984: International College of Cranio Mandibular Orthopedics 1994: Geriatric Oral Health from UMKC 2007: International College of Osseo Integration, 2007: Completed residency in Oral Implantology from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonia, TX. Dr. Gertken maintains his private practice with emphasis on reconstructive dentistry using implantology and neuromuscular dentistry and serves as Dental Consultant at two local nursing homes. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, and the International Congress of Osseo Integration as well as the American College of Oral Implantologists. His wife Pamela Hayward Gertken BS, RDH and James have two sons, Jon-Thomas and Matthew Charles.
