Dr Newton Perez,

Dr. Newton Perez is a general dentist dedicated to delivering high-quality care with compassion, skill, and a personal touch. Raised in New York City, Dr. Perez began his academic journey studying sociology at the City University of New York before completing a post-baccalaureate in biology at Mercy University. He later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Perez’s path to dentistry is deeply rooted in a childhood experience—at age ten, he was inspired by a dentist who transformed his view of oral healthcare. Although his early career led him into accounting and finance, his passion for dentistry never faded. With the birth of his son, he and his wife Yisel made the decision to fully pursue his dream. Today, he finds fulfillment in seeing patients gain immediate relief and long-term confidence through care, always striving to build trust and create a welcoming experience. Dr. Perez speaks Spanish as his first language and is active in church ministry, volunteer work, and community health events. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, and loves outdoor adventures like camping and kayaking, playing music, and watching or playing basketball and baseball.
