Dr. Blanchaert received his undergraduate dental training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. He completed his residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Connecticut. He received fellowship training in maxillofacial oncology and microvascular surgery at the University of Maryland. He lectured internationally on topics including dental implant reconstruction, ambulatory anaesthesia, pathology, and reconstruction.
