Dr. Brett Dunnill grew up in Hamilton, Virginia. In 1993, he was accepted to the University of Virginia where he met his wife Tia and earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology in 1997. He then attended the University of Maryland and earned his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. During this time he excelled and was accepted into multiple honor societies including the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society . Following dental school, Dr. Dunnill was accepted into the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. This training allowed him to hone his skills in the art and science of dentistry with studies in implant restorative techniques and cosmetic dentistry. In 2003, Dr. Dunnill purchased a practice in Charleston, South Carolina where he continued to provide exceptional cosmetic and family care while giving back to the community by participating in multiple charities and organizing fundraisers for the local cancer center. Like Dr. Rubin, Dr. Dunnill prides himself on providing excellent and compassionate dental care. He is a member of the American Dental Association , VDA, PDS, and Academy of General Dentistry. Through continuing education, he stays abreast of the latest comprehensive dental treatments. Dr. Dunnill has three beautiful children. His pastimes always involve family and include boating, running, traveling, hiking, and giving back to the community. In his free time, Dr. Dunnill enjoys landscape oil painting. It is this natural artistic skill in conjunction with extensive dental training which allows him to create the smile you’ve always wanted.
