A love for dentistry started at a very young age for Dr. Amador. Dr. Maria E. Amador graduated from high school with honors and went on to be in the top ten percent of her class in dental school receiving her Doctor in Dental Surgery from American University in Managua, Nicaragua. She completed a two-year post graduate General practice residency at Miami Valley Hospital, a level 1 Trauma center in Dayton, Ohio during which time she received extensive training in all dental specialties. During her dental career she has served as a clinical lecturer in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry. She is an active member of several dental associations ie., American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Tidewater Dental Association and the Hispanic Dental Association. Dr. Amador is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Please welcome Dr. Maria E. Amador as the proud new owner of DeGinder Family Dentistry which will now be known as Amador Family Dentistry.
