Dentistry has been an Integral part of Dr. Rick Rubin's family for over 70 years beginning with his grandfather, who graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1938. After honorably serving three years in the United States Army, Dr. Rubin earned his B.S from the University of Florida in 1994, graduating with high honors. Dr. Rubin then received a scholarship to attend the prestigious Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in 1996 at New York University , where he received a Master's Degree in Health Policy & Management. Dr. Rubin earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida and is a professional member of the American Dental Association , Virginia Dental Association , Peninsula Dental Society, and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry . Dr. Rubin also received specialized training with the FBI to assist in forensic dentistry cases and holds active dental licenses in California, New Jersey, and Virginia where he resides in Williamsburg with his wife and three children. Dr. Rubin enjoys spending quality time at home, but also enjoys gardening, exercising, and golf. Dr. Rubin is a published author of several dental education books used by dental schools and dental students worldwide. Dr. Rubin is committed to providing personalized dental care to his patients with excellence, integrity, and compassion. Dr. Rubin has received the highly prestigious award of USA’s topDENTISTS from 2015-2021.
