Dr. Smith was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Salt Lake Community College for his associate's degree and completed his dental prerequisites at the University of Utah. He attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2005 and was awarded a Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2009. Following his graduation from dental school, he served 4 years as a Navy dentist before associating with a private practice in Leland, NC. He loves having his own practice in Sneads Ferry. He has had the opportunity to become a member of the American Dental Association as well as the North Carolina Dental Association.
