Mr Mark R. Zemanovich

Dr. Zemanovich's goal is to help you retain your natural teeth and maintain, or restore, a functional dentition and a beautiful smile. To accomplish this he provides advanced periodontal and dental implant care in a warm and welcoming office. He works closely as a team member with your general dentist to ensure the best results possible. On your first visit to the office, Dr. Zemanovich will listen closely to your concerns and complete a comprehensive oral examination to assess your current periodontal status, as well as your overall dental health. He will make every effort to help you understand your dental condition and discuss how further problems can be prevented. Based on the diagnosis, he will develop a specific plan to meet your needs and present all alternative options to ensure that you have a clear understanding of your treatment choices. He will also let your referring dentist or physician know of his findings and the proposed treatment plan to better ensure comprehensive care. This high level of communication leads to a closer doctor-patient relationship and, for many people, relieves the stress associated with needing to see a specialist. He earned both his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed his post-graduate periodontal training including a Masters of Science at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) School of Dentistry in Richmond, VA. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Southern Academy of Periodontology, the Virginia Society of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association. He maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and implant dentistry located in Stephens City, VA.
