Dr Marla Chavez

Meet Dr. Marla Chavez, a proud Florida native, born and raised in Miami. Dr. Chavez embarked on her journey in healthcare at the University of Central Florida, where she delved into Health Sciences. Her passion for dentistry led her to the LECOM School of Dental Medicine in Bradenton, FL, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Driven by a fusion of art and science, Dr. Chavez discovered her true calling in dentistry, recognizing how these seemingly different worlds harmonize beautifully. She explored her artistic skills in high school, through ceramics and active involvement in art club, revealing her aptitude for creating and working with her hands. This passion for art has translated to her love for dentistry. Starting from a young age, service has always been at the core of Dr. Chavez's spirit. Seeing the smiles of those she helps, meets, or cares about reminds her of the "why" in everything she does. For Dr. Chavez, the essence of dentistry lies in the personal connections made with her patients. Her favorite part of working alongside patients is having that one-on-one interaction with the patient while earning and building their trust along the way.
