As a firm believer in continuing education, Dr. Surendran has furthered her studies by attending orthodontics, laser therapy, and implant procedures classes. On the weekends, she can be found at home relaxing with her family. She enjoys learning Indian classical dance. She has two children, who are currently practising piano and learning the violin.
