Dr. John J. Giordano IV DMD, COL was born and raised in Worcester, MA. He attended Saint Johns High School graduating in 1988 and Assumption College graduating in 1992. Dr. Giordano DMD, COL then attended Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston graduating in 1996. He chose to move back to Worcester and has been practicing dentistry ever since graduation. Dr. John J. Giordano DMD, COL furthered his dental education when he completed a year-long fellowship in Forensic Odontology at the Center for Education and Research in Forensics at the University of San Antonio Texas. While practicing general dentistry he served as a Dental Forensic Consultant to local law enforcement and the Rhode Island Medical Examiners office. In 2009 Dr. Giordano joined the MA Army National Guard. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2013. He currently holds the rank of Colonel and serves as the State Dental Officer for MA. His passion for dentistry continues as he serves the community as the Dental Consultant for the Worcester Child Development Head Start Program. Dr. Giordano is active in the Worcester Dental Society and the American Dental Association. He loves to interact with his patients and believes dental education and understanding will lead a patient to optimal dental health. In March 2025, Dr. Giordano retired from private practice and transitioned the practice to Dr. Buzzell.
