Dr. Kate McPherson grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Chemistry from East Carolina University. She then went on to obtain her DDS degree from the University of North Carolina. Following dental school, she made the move to the Northeast and completed a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Massachusetts General Hospital. During this program, she worked at several Harvard affiliated instructions where she gained advanced experience in clinical and emergency dentistry. Outside of the office, Dr. McPherson is passionate about dental advocacy and ensuring that all patients have reasonable access to dental care. This has led her to professional affiliations with the American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society where she sits on the Government Affairs Committee. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors and traveling with her fiancé, Cody, and two dogs, Ollie and Addy.
