As a board-certified periodontist, Dr. Kevin Guze is an expert in diagnosing, preventing, and treating gum disease. He also performs all aspects of periodontic surgery, including advanced dental implant treatment. Combining experience and the latest techniques and technology, he’s devoted to providing patients exceptional care and delivering reliable, safe, and long-lasting results. Dr. Guze pursued his vocation by first earning a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of British Columbia and completing a general practice residency at Vancouver General Hospital. He practiced in Vancouver for 12 years before obtaining a certification in periodontology and a Doctor of Medical Science degree at Harvard. He also completed his Master’s degree in therapeutic research at Oxford University. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Guze is an instructor in the Department of Oral Medicine, Infection & Immunity at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. In 2009, he received the Goldhaber Research Prize. At home, Dr. Guze enjoys playing hockey and tennis, going for hikes, and savouring quality time with his wife and four kids.
