Dr. Wendy Steger was inspired to become a dentist for several reasons. Growing up, her family emphasized serving those in need, and she was frequently in a pediatric dentist’s chair as a child. Growing up in Toronto, Canada, she fell on the ice and broke her two front teeth which, of course, led to numerous dental appointments. “I became enamored by my pediatric dentist’s practice at a young age,” she says. “I appreciated how he cared for his patients and enjoyed his work.” Through the years, Dr. Steger realized she had a talent for working with her hands, which further increased her interest in dentistry. She realized how this skill is valuable for any dentist. “Dentistry has allowed me to merge my two passions— working with my hands and serving others,” she says. Now in the dental industry for over 20 years, Dr. Steger’s patients enjoy receiving care from her in a friendly, compassionate practice equipped with the latest dental technology. “Our patients are treated like family, and they really feel at home here,” she says. “I always make sure they know they are our No. 1 priority.” Dr. Steger and her team take a conservative approach to general and cosmetic dentistry and make recommendations solely based on the needs of each patient.
