Dr. Sarah Lyden grew up in Frostburg, MD then majored in chemistry at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She attended dental school at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. During dental school, she was a clerk in the special patient clinic, learning advanced procedures on patients with special needs. Dr. Sarah then completed a general practice residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Dr. Sarah then returned to Maryland, where she worked at a private practice in Annapolis for 12 years. She is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of the American Dental Association and several other study groups.
