Dr. R. E. (Jim) Snelson is a Distinguished Dentist of the Ohio Dental Association, the highest award conferred by this statewide organization. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry (1961) and is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and International College of Dentists. He is a member of the American Dental Association, member of and past president of the Ohio Dental Association, and member of and past president of the Corydon Palmer Dental Society. Always active in his community, he currently serves on the Trumbull County United Way Board and as chairman of the Ohio Dental Association Foundation. He and his wife, Diane, have two sons, Lee and Marc.
