I have been using custom fabricated healing abutments since the early 90’s. However, custom healing abutments are expensive and not available for every patient. These Anatotemp abutments have a natural shape and contour which are tooth specific. They emerge gently so they are simple to place for sub-crestal placed implants. They do not loosen over time and the patients feel very comfortable. I use them now more often than conventional round healing abutments.
