He served as a missionary in Honduras, attended community college in Arizona, transferred to Brigham Young University, joined the US Army as a MEDEVAC Pilot for over 10 years, completed a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics through Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He finished prerequisites at Idaho State University and earned his DMD from Midwestern University Arizona. He has practiced dentistry in Oklahoma for going on 4 years.
