Raised in Laverne, Dr. Susan Davis graduated from Laverne High School in 1979. She attended Oklahoma State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1983. Following graduation, she continued her education at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1987. After graduating in 1987, she returned to Laverne to begin practicing with her father, Dr. Leo McAtee. Dr. McAtee had been in practice in Laverne since 1964. Just a few of her many achievements are as follows: Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry 2001, President of the Oklahoma Academy of General Dentistry 2011, President to the Northwest District Oklahoma Dental Association 2011, Oklahoma Public Health Association Volunteer Service Award 2010, Oklahoma Dental Foundation Hometown Hero Award 2010, Fellowship in the Pierre Fauchard Academy 2014, and a DenPac committee member of the ODA 2015. A fervent advocate for charity and volunteer work. Dr. Davis has three children, Erica, Sean, and Sarah. In her spare time, Dr. Davis’s passion is music. She loves to play the keyboard and prepare music for contemporary Christian worship groups.
